Can I sleep in a wig?
Many times women prefer to sleep in their prosthesis. I always recommend that you do not sleep in the same wig that you will be wearing during the day. There are several options for sleeping if you prefer a wig instead of a scarf or turban. The use of an older prosthesis that has been worn during the day that needs to be replaced due to the hair thinning or general wear is a solution that can extend the use of your prostheses. Each time that you replace your prosthesis that you wear during the day, the older one can be worn for sleeping at night. Read more
What is the difference between the human hair and synthetic wigs?
Synthetic wigs come in pre styled designs. The curl pattern is set into the fiber and will remain there as long as it is cared for properly. They are generally light weight and require very little care. Read more
Do wigs come in more than one size?
Some companies offer several sizes of wigs; however the styles may be limited. The approximate circumference of the average size wig is 21 ½ in. to 22 ½ inches. The approximate circumference of the petite wigs is 19 ½ inches to 21 inches in circumference. A few companies have a limited selection of extra large wigs that go to about 23 inches in circumference. Many of the wigs will have an elastic adjustment.

Having a difficult time wearing a wig?
