It is very important that the directions are followed carefully and that they are used properly in order to avoid any unpleasant side affects such as hair loss or burning of the scalp. Many times the solutions have been accidentally left on the hair and scalp beyond the recommended time and will cause burning of the scalp and some temporary hair loss.
