Losing my Eyebrow and Eyelashes - Here is A Bit of Help
Go Back to Hair Loss Tips
One of my clients would like to share with you, Here is A Bit of Help…
Hairloss is never easy, but it doesn’t have to destroy your life. I tend to try and always look on the positive side of things, ie…I never have to wax or shave. However, losing my eyebrow and eyelashes proved to be more traumatic for me than losing the hair on my head.
There are some tried and true products that have helped me along the way that I would like to share.
1. She laq by Benefit
As far as I am concerned this is the best product in the world. It is a makeup sealer.

You simply paint over your eyebrow powder, wait a minute or two and then VOILA! Your eyebrows will not move until you remove them with soap and water. This product can also be used on your lips and eyelids.

2. Coffee Bean Eyeshadow by Bare Escentuals
This loose mineral eyeshadow is the perfect powder to use to create your brows. I do not use a pencil. I simply use an angled brush, and draw or brush on my brows. Afterwards, I use the SHE LAQ, to keep them in place. It really works like a charm.

3. MAC Cosmetics, makes the best false eyelashes.
They are easy to use and feel and look natural. They are pricier than the lashes you get in the drugstore, but they are worth it especially for special occasions. I wore them for my wedding and they stayed on all night long.

4. As Seen On TV Turbie Twist™ Hair Towel (Set of 2).
Hair towels are a great way to dry your hairpiece in hurry and keep the wave in tact. I simply wash my hair and wrap it in the towel and let it dry. The Turbie Twist comes in several colors and can be found at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $9.99.
I hope these suggestions help. There will be more helpful tidbits later.
