Safety Tips to Protect the Synthetic Fiber

Hot water should not be used on synthetic fiber. It is very heat sensitive.

If it is necessary to use a hair dryer, be sure to use the cool setting. Never use the hot setting on a hair dryer.

If traveling by airplane, be sure to carry the additional hair prosthesis with you on the plane in your carry-on luggage. The temperatures in the luggage compartment might damage the fiber permanently.

In the summer months, never leave the hair prosthesis in the car for any extended amount of time. The temperature in the car could damage the synthetic fiber permanently.

When cooking, stand back for a few seconds when you open the oven door to let the first blast of heat out. Always use caution when taking food in and out of the oven.
